My name is David and I’m on a journey of discovery; exploring new places, meeting new people, and embracing experiences that challenge and inspire me. I’m currently preparing to travel across the United States in my truck, splitting my time between visiting friends, exploring cities, and immersing myself in nature.
I grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, and enlisted in the Air Force after high school, where I worked as an Electronic Warfare Technician for eight years. After my service, I returned to Anchorage and spent six years working as a Financial Advisor. Seeking a new direction, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Alaska Anchorage, and have since spent the past six years working for the State of Alaska. Now, I’m once again ready for change and new challenges.
As I travel, I’m focusing on developing my creative side. I’ve spent time in the past exploring photography, which I am now expanding into drawing and painting. In early 2025, I began learning guitar and plan to continue growing as a musician while also trying music production.
